While trying to organize the files on my computer a bit, I came across many photos I’ve taken over the past year or so that never made it into any blog posts. Rather than let them go to waste, I figured I’d share them with you all in a new series I’m calling Photo Mixtape.
These posts are basically just going to be a mishmash of photos from around the parks and resorts, not following any real narrative or specific order. Since I have a bunch from all around the resort, I will try and limit each post to a couple locations. In this first post of the series, I’ll share some photos from Magic Kingdom and Epcot with limited commentary. These were taken on several different dates over the past year.
Let’s start with The Magic Kingdom:
With Country Bear Jamboree rumored to be on the chopping block, its important to appreciate similar classic Walt Disney touched attractions such as Carousel of Progress.
It seems to get mixed reviews, but we really enjoy Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire. We are big fans of both Princess and the Frog and Tangled so I suppose that helps for us.
All the way back to the Christmas season here…
Since we’re in the holiday spirit, here’s a look at Fort Wilderness from back in December 2018:
Fort Wilderness is really a world of its own, probably the closest remaining remnant of Vacation Kingdom of the World era Disney. It’s especially unique during the holidays when campers go all out in decorating their campsites. The common areas are very festive as well.
If you haven’t seen Hoop Dee Doo Revue, we highly recommend it. Its classic WDW family entertainment at its best.
The dinner show runs 3 times every evening. It features all you can eat BBQ and all you can drink beer / sangria. The stage show is wildly entertaining and its just a really fun night out!
Last, we head over to Epcot:
There is lot’s of great entertainment all around World Showcase. These guys in Germany were among our favorites from last trip.
One of my favorite places to be in all of Walt Disney Wor… SQUIRREL!
Sorry, I couldn’t resist. And yes I took a picture of this squirrel just so I could thrown a corny Up! joke in a post. I apologize!
Anyway, bad jokes aside, World Showcase at sunset may be my very favorite place to be in WDW. The Morocco pavilion is probably my favorite.
That will do it for now. Hope you enjoyed this little mixtape of Disney photos. Thanks for taking the time to check it out!
Bye for now!
