We are back with another exciting weekly Disney park news roundup! In this post, we will present posts from various Disney news / opinion sites from the past few days which we found most intriguing!
Tom over at Disney Tourist Blog offers a great look at the new Christmas offerings coming to Animal Kingdom later this year, as well as what we can realistically expect from the new offering.
Another great post from Disney Tourist Blog on what you may be looking at should you have a reservation time to attend the opening of Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland next week!
Josh over at Easy WDW does a great job of explaining my current biggest complaint with the Disney parks… Long lines due to reduced ride capacity. This is an unacceptable budget cut from Disney in a time where parks are reporting record profits!
Part 2 of Josh’s post continues to show what reduced capacity can do to your touring plans!
Blog Mickey gives us a great look at the current construction of the Tron coaster at Magic Kingdom. Construction is moving along swiftly with several supports and a decent amount of track already installed!
Soarin’ Over California is returning for a limited time to California Adventure Park. This is an attempt to lure crowds away from Galaxy’s Edge a bit. We wish this was happening at Epcot too but no such luck…
WDWNT is reporting that the Winged Encounters: The Kingdom Takes Flight show at Animal Kingdom will be closing after this week. This is only a rumor at this point and one we hope isn’t true!
Finally, the new version of RoL, titled Rivers of Light: We Are One, officially debuts today. There was an AP preview of the show last night and we’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews. If you want to view a video of the show, you can do so here.
